Friends

So, we've been here about three weeks, give or take. The best thing? My friend Sara is only two hours away, in Searcy. I left a couple of very good friends behind in Port Orchard (Maria Byrd and Tracy Anderson, I miss you!), and I would be desolate without them, but for the fact that my college roommate and sister-in-heart lives so close to me now.

Sara brought her two cuties over yesterday. Our children had not seen one another since Alec was a newborn and Laura was about a year old. Grant had not yet arrived. Didn't seem to matter much. They hit it off and had a great time.

Now I just need to see my other HU sissies. Cara, Maria Roberts, Anna, y'all come see me soon!

You got some cute pics. Laura is still talking about the "two boys" (her name for Z and A). She kept telling me how she really only played with the "older boy" the most. I don't know why she won't call them by their names!!!

Love ya sis!

wow, I can't believe I made your blog, I feel a little famous! I miss you guys too. The other day while running I went down mile hill and remembered seeing you one day and was like "I sure do miss them" We will pray for Zach. Jon remembers moving in 2nd grade and it was really hard on him. Hope Z make fast friends! By the way..the pics of your house look great. We've been here 5 years and still not totally decorated. You are amazing.

I loved reading about your travels from Washington to Tennessee! Awesome that you got to visit some cool sites and take advantage of your time on the road.

And, you are lucky to have moved closer to your HU pals! What a blessing our long-time friends are to our lives.

Glad you are getting settled!

So glad you had a good visit with Sara! I think you're only 4 hours away from me, so I could run on up there for a visit! Looking forward to our girls weekend, too!

I didn't realize you were so close to Searcy now! Jeremy's parents live there...we just spent a week with them. Any plans to visit HU for Homecoming? Sure would love to see you...we are tentatively trying to go this year.

Good F words

Hey! Not all F words are bad. The best words in the world are family, fun, food, and fabulous! I'm challenging myself to expand my own appreciation of the fabulous F words out there. I'm starting a list of words that I'll eventually write about. Let me know if you think of another fun one.
