Favorite Children's Books

I'm on a mission. I want to make a list of books for my friend Maria. She has a 3 1/2 year old boy who hasn't been crazy about book time. So, I'm starting my list of must-reads for the 3 to 5 year old set. I need your favorites. I've got a million of them, but I'd like to come up with a top 20.

What is a favorite in your family library?

Hey Andrea!!!

Finally a question I can help answer. I do have a few boys.:)

Any Clifford book was always loved.
Where the Wild Things Are
Little Bunny Follows His Nose (scratch and sniff)
If You Give a Pig a Pancake
Brow Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Theodore Mouse Goes to Sea
Pat the Bunny

That's a few of our favorites. Hope that helps. Give your boys hugs from me.

Favorite gifts from Aunt Kathryn are Tikki Tikki Tembo and Big Dog Little Dog. Great idea to put together a reading library list for Maria!

Well, I definitely want this list when you've decided! Don't forget Goodnight Moon. I don't know why, but all my kids have loved it. We also love Curious George stories and the Maisy books.

Good luck limiting the list to 20!!

Good F words

Hey! Not all F words are bad. The best words in the world are family, fun, food, and fabulous! I'm challenging myself to expand my own appreciation of the fabulous F words out there. I'm starting a list of words that I'll eventually write about. Let me know if you think of another fun one.
