Feline family

I haven't posted about the furrier members of our family in awhile. We've got fluffy Molly Rainbow, who is quite possibly the sweetest kitty in the world. I love lap time with her. She is large and warm and has a deep, distinctive meow.

We also have Oliver Whiskers, who is. . . a bit of a troublemaker, but in the sweetest possible way. This morning Alec said, "Our kitties are in our family, aren't they Mommy?" Yep, they are. So this is a post about our fluffy felines.

I'm glad you love your cats so much!! My family definitely hasn't had the best cats. One drowned in the toilet when she was a kitty. One neutered, male cat was given away because he began spraying in the house. He wasn't seen by his new owners and died soon after he left us. Right now we have two, spayed cats. One is named Jade and the other is Jasmine. Jade started peeing on the carpet a few months ago so she was quickly made an outdoor/garage cat. Jasmine is bulimic. She weighs barely anything and can throw up on the carpet (she refuses to puke on the hard wood floor which would be so much easier to clean up) up to three times a day. Thank goodness for the absolutely AMAZING carpet cleaner my mom has. She'll be an outdoor cat as soon as the weather gets warmer too. Jasmine adores me and hates just about everybody else. When Jordan is over she won't come near me and she gives Jordan the dirties looks I think a cat could ever give a human. Jordan loves to antagonize her. She's my stocker and she usually sleeps in my bed each night. She sheds more than I've ever seen and she will wake me up numerous times in the middle of the night scraping on my blinds. And if I close my door at night she will scrape at the door and meow until she wakes me up to let her in. It's like a cat soap opera or horror story! Hopefully someday I will have a wonderful cat. I think any cat could be better than any of the cats we've had.

You just don't know how good I feel knowing that you love your cats like I love mine They are so much fun they hate changes and have different personalities just like people. They are not stupid quite the opposite. I enjoy all my critters too.

Good F words

Hey! Not all F words are bad. The best words in the world are family, fun, food, and fabulous! I'm challenging myself to expand my own appreciation of the fabulous F words out there. I'm starting a list of words that I'll eventually write about. Let me know if you think of another fun one.
