I am just curious. Is anyone out there actually having somewhat normal fall weather right now? I realize that "normal" is terribly abstract and varies widely, but we're having the weirdest weather here in the Pacific Northwest! There has been no rain -- stunning -- and the temps have been in the 80s! Unbelievable in this neck of the woods. I am not prepared for such weather. I go to work and sweat in my work clothes because I do not have warm weather work clothes. Why? Because it is not supposed to be warm here, not while I'm teaching anyway!
What about you? How's the weather?

This week we have had amazing weather! Actually, perfect football weather. Tomorrow's high is 76 and the lows have been in the 50's. I believe it's supposed to last a few more days. It hasn't rained in a couple weeks, which is fine b/c of all the rain we received from the 2 hurricanes. So, do you like your weather? Sweating is not plesant, I'm sure. Especially while in front of your class. Speaking of...did you ever have the history professor, man I can't think of his name, that would sweat something awful when he taught? What was his name?????!!!!??? Anyway, he just popped in my head. Surely it's not that bad :) Enjoy your sultry 80 degree temps. Love ya!
It's been great in the east! I think we are supposed to have high 60s for the rest of the week, and 70s during the weekend. Perfect hiking weather (or at least I hope so since that's what we are doing Saturday!). I did hear that we are 9" above average in rain collection for the year - better than being 9" in the negative!
Like Cara said, we've had some really nice weather.
I think Paul Haynie was the sweaty professor??
YES!!!!!!!! Thank you, Sara!
Weather in Searcy has been perfect. Low in the upper 50's highs in 70's. I can't wait until the leaves start to turn.
I don't think I'm in the same realm of sweatiness that Dr. Haynie claimed! :-) But thanks so much for that memory. Loving that.
The weather turned a bit today. Dropped to the 60s and we had the expected rain that comes in this neck of the woods. I wish I could have captured the morning fog and rain that we drove to school in this morning. It was perfectly Pacific Northwest.
I'm jealous of the Arkansas fall football weather!
In West Texas, we dream of having four seasons. Alas, in reality, we have only two...hot wind and cold wind! We're still having hot wind.
